Safe Labor Movement Workshop: 2 hours. In-person or Virtual. Understanding BETTER body mechanics and movement patterns in order to increase workforce productivity and help decrease workplace injuries. Time will be spent in an interactive atmosphere moving through four basic movement patterns: hinge, squat, push and pull, along with the importance of core stability. Each employee will leave with tips focused on ways to improve their overall movement patterning and work-related well-being. Q&A session.
Movement Assessments: 2 hours. In-person or Virtual. An integration of the Safe Labor Movement Workshop plus additional time observing employees in the work setting. Assessments and immediate feedback/suggestions. Handouts or app access.
8 Week Movement + Maintenance Training Session: **off-season!! Multiple sessions starting Fall 2022 thru late Winter 2023. A look at five common movement patterns most used in labor occupations: hinge, squat, pull, push, rotation. Time will be spent focusing on individual needs to improve movements, increase mobility and maintain those in-season gains during the off-season. Options for incorporating building strength into programming. At home programming available. Meeting weekly may greatly improve adherence to a program, as well as offer camaraderie with others in agriculture/labor occupations. Off-season training is a way to maintain mobility and strength between seasons. 5 person limit.
Farm Coaching days (half or full day) are a natural progression after a Safe Labor Movement Workshop. Typically help 4-6 weeks after a workshop, during a normal workday.
Coaching - In-person: Labor-Movement is available for in-person training at your business location (3-4 hours). A coaching day allows interaction with your crew during the work day, in real vs ideal settings and situations. Movement strategies given in real time.
Coaching - Remote/Virtual: Remote methods tailored to business and workforce needs to help implement an ongoing workplace injury reduction program. Use of a training app to encourage compliance, communication and support from within the team, as well as with a coach.
Coaching - Subscription 3 month, 6 month, Yearly. Bundle it all together for continuity through one or all of the seasons. Coaching is an add-on for those that have gone through Safe Labor Movement Workshop and/or Movement Assessments training.
Individuals or Small Groups (5 or less)
